AIDAperla is the second of two new Hyperion-Class cruise ships built at Nagasaki Shipyard in Japan by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Together with her sister ship AIDAprima they are just a handful of cruise ships built by Mitsubishi, therefore they bare the hallmark of the Japanese quality and craftsmen.
